Your soul match joined your call first, so EverConnected rings wherever you are in the app: their Soulie avatar, a ringing tone, quick replies, and two choices, Join and Ignore.
Ignore only silences the alert. It never cancels the call, which stays joinable from your inbox for as long as the join window lasts. The ring stops on its own after a minute, which counts the same as Ignore. A quick reply ("On my way", and friends) reaches your waiting match as a small toast.
There is no reject button on the ring, on purpose. The call belongs to both of you, and a missed ring should never quietly kill it.
